Barmbeker SK 1926 eV is a welcoming chess club located in Hamburg, Germany, at the Stadtteil- und Kulturzentrum Barmbek°Basch. Established in 1926, the club offers a friendly atmosphere where members and guests can enjoy playing blitz or rapid chess games. The club hosts regular activities, including club evenings, training sessions, game analysis, and team competitions. They organize traditional tournaments such as the Club Tournament, Blitz-Grand-Prix, and an open Rapid tournament in November/December. The club is open to players of all skill levels, from beginners to those competing in the Landesliga. Club evenings and training are held every Tuesday from 7 PM to midnight.
