Chessmates Zugerland

Chessmates Zugerland, located in Oberägeri, Switzerland, is a vibrant chess club dedicated to teaching and promoting chess across the Zug region. Catering to a diverse audience, including children from kindergarten age, adults, seniors, and women, the club trains approximately 90 participants weekly. Training is structured by skill level and offered both on-site and online. The club provides semester courses in various locations, including Steinhausen, Unterägeri, Oberägeri, and Neuheim, as well as online. Special programs include performance courses, private training, holiday courses, and advanced training for gifted youth through the CMZ-Academy. Adults can also benefit from private sessions with qualified trainers, including sessions with Grandmaster Mihajlo Stojanovic. Chessmates Zugerland actively organizes tournaments and school visits, contributing to the local chess community since at least 2017.
