Located on the second floor of the Hotel Julis, this chess café continues the tradition of the legendary Café Julis, which operated in the hotel during the First Republic at the beginning of the 20th century.
The café is equipped with chess tables, photos showing old tournaments and a library, where there are chess books and magazines in Czech, Russian and German, which you can borrow and go through while enjoying good coffee and fine wine.
Books can also be purchased here, along with chess related gift items and greeting cards.
