LSV Turm Lippstadt is a welcoming chess club located in Lippstadt, Germany, open to guests interested in playing blitz or rapid chess. Established in 1996, the club boasts a strong team presence with six adult teams and dedicated youth teams. The 1st team competes in the NRW-Liga and has recently led the league. The club hosts several tournaments, including the international “Turm Open” and the “Vereinsmeisterschaft” (Club Championship). They are also involved in the “Stadtmeisterschaft” (City Championship) and “Duo Chess” events. LSV Turm Lippstadt actively engages with youth through “Schnupperschach” events, attracting many young players. Training sessions are held every Tuesday and Friday, with youth sessions starting at 4:30 PM and adult sessions at 6:00 PM.
