Schachclub Fehmarn (SC Fehmarn) is a welcoming chess club located on the island of Fehmarn, Germany. The club invites chess enthusiasts of all skill levels, from beginners to professionals, to join their game nights held every Thursday at 7:30 PM at the Seniorenresidenz Charleston in Burg. These sessions feature Blitz, Rapid, and Standard chess formats. While guests are encouraged to participate without immediate membership, they should contact the club in advance to confirm game nights, as cancellations may occur due to low attendance. Visitors are advised to bring their own drinks, as no catering is provided. Starting from the 2025/2026 season, SC Fehmarn will no longer participate in district team competitions due to a shortage of players. The club is actively seeking new members to revitalize its player base and continue its tradition of chess excellence.
