Schachklub Schweinfurt 2000 e.V.

Schachklub Schweinfurt 2000 e.V., founded in 2000, is the largest chess club in Lower Franconia, Germany, with over 200 members, more than half of whom are under 25. Located at the centrally situated Schachzentrum Spinnmühle in Schweinfurt, the club offers a variety of activities, including adult chess game nights on Mondays at 7:00 PM and Fridays, women’s chess training on Fridays from 5:00–6:00 PM, and beginner training from 6:00–7:30 PM. The club also hosts student and youth training sessions starting at 7:30 PM on Fridays. Schachklub Schweinfurt 2000 e.V. is committed to an open and respectful environment, actively opposing abuse and discrimination. It fields multiple competitive teams and organizes numerous internal and external tournaments, such as the Schweinfurt Open and the Christmas Blitz Tournament. The club also engages in online chess activities.
