SG Arnstadt-Stadtilm

SG Arnstadt-Stadtilm e.V. is a prominent chess club located in Arnstadt, Germany. The club is renowned for hosting the annual Albrecht Brömel Gedenkturnier, a memorial tournament featuring Blitz and Rapid chess, with its 25th edition held in October 2023. The club also participates annually in the traditional Königseer Mannschafts-Pokalturnier, achieving an excellent 3rd place in 2024. SG Arnstadt-Stadtilm is dedicated to youth development, with its young players securing notable positions in district championships.
