SSV Bruchsal, officially known as Schachsportverein Bruchsal, is a welcoming chess club located in Bruchsal, Germany. The club is open to guests and offers opportunities to play blitz or rapid chess games. SSV Bruchsal organizes and participates in various tournaments, including the Club Championship and DWZ-Turniere like the “Winterturnier.” They also host unique events such as the Faschingsturniere, which feature chess variants and creative prizes. The club competes in the “Verbandsliga Nord” and participates in external tournaments, including the “Open Selestat” in France. Notably, club members have achieved impressive performances, with Erik and Lukas excelling in significant tournaments. The club actively involves youth and maintains a presence on Lichess. Meetings are held at the Haus der Begegnung in Bruchsal, with training sessions for children and youth on Tuesdays from 5 PM and for adults from 7 PM.
