Stolberger Schachverein 1927 e.V. is a welcoming chess club located in Stolberg (Rheinland), Germany. Guests are invited to join and participate in blitz or rapid chess games. The club hosts a variety of tournaments, including the Open Indestadt Tournaments, Club Championship, Club Blitz Championship, Tandem/New Year’s Tournament, City Championship, and the Copper City Youth Open. The club also fields at least a 1st and 2nd team. Chess activities take place at the Helene-Weber-Haus, with sessions for students and youth on Wednesdays from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and for seniors from 7:00 PM onwards. The club maintains an online presence through Instagram.
