SV Mendig-Mayen e.V. is a welcoming chess club located in Mendig, Germany. Known as one of the larger clubs in the region, it offers a friendly environment for guests to enjoy blitz or rapid chess games. The club is dedicated to youth development, with excellent training programs led by youth trainers Sergej Hofmann and Thomas Schwab. Children and youth are introduced to chess through engaging and varied training sessions. The club also hosts a weekly club evening for adults and actively participates in both team and individual chess tournaments. Chess training for children and youth takes place every Friday at 6:00 PM, followed by the club evening for adults at 7:30 PM.
