SV Merkur Hademarschen, located in Hanerau-Hademarschen, Germany, is a distinguished chess club established in 1963. It became part of the main sports club in 1968. The club fields five teams in the Schachverband Schleswig-Holstein leagues, comprising two adult and three junior teams.
