Echiquier de la Pointe – Saint Sulpice is a vibrant chess club located in Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe, France. Established in 2017, the club joined the French Chess Federation in 2018 and has grown to 66 licensed members for the 2024/2025 season. It fosters a welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels, whether for competition, learning, or simply enjoying the game. The club’s first team will compete in Nationale 4 (N4) for the 2025/2026 season. It boasts two adults with a federal chess instructor diploma and one federal club arbiter. The club has achieved notable success, including excellent performances at the Occitanie Championship 2026 and several individual champions in the Tarn region.
